Male. Body length 5.8-6.0 mm.
Head. Eye bare; width of frons about 0.35 times of head width, about 3.2-3.5 times as wide as postpedicel; frontal vitta black, about 1.2 times as wide as fronto-orbital plate; ocellar setae long and strong, longer than the width of frons, inner vertical setae long and strong, outer vertical setae about
1/2 length of inner ones; orb 0+2, fr 5-6; fronto-orbital plate and parafacialia golden pruinose; one row of parafacial setae, the lower ones longer than width of parafacialia; antennae black, basal half of arista plumose, the aristal length subequal to the width of postpedicel; postpedicel about 2.2-2.5
times as long as pedicel; vibrissal angle situated behind of level of antennal base in profile; facial ridge with 3-4 setae in lower 1/4; genae with black hairs, genal height about 1/4 of eye height, postgena light-yellow, occiput with black hairs, 3 regular rows of postocular setae; prementum slightly shining, about 1.5-2.0 times as long as broad; labellum about 4/5 of the length of prementum; palpi black, longer than prementum. Thorax. Ground color dark black, with grayish-white pollinosity, presutural area of scutum with 3 black stripe; acr 0+1, dc 2+3, ial 0+2, posthumeral 1+1, pra about 3/5 of the length of posterior notopleural seta; notopleuron with hairs, subapical and basal scutellar setae strong, lateral margins of scutellum with black hairs, basisternum and proepisternum in upper part bare, katepisternal setae 1+1+1, meron with rows of setae. Wing. Membrane transparent, yellow at base, basicosta yellow, costal spine long and strong, slightly longer than r-m crossvein, 3rd costal section about 0.8 times of its 5th section, vein R1 bare, radial node and basal part of vein R4+5 with small setae, calypteres light-yellow, halteres brownish-black in apical half, at base brown. Legs. Entirely black; fore tibia with 3-4 ad in basal half, 1 submedial pv; mid femur with 1 sub-basal av and 1 medial av, with complete row of strong pv, becoming shortened apically, 2-3 basal ones fringelike;
mid tibia with one submedial v, 3 ad, 2 pd, 1 p; hind femur with a row from 5-6 av; v and pv long, fringe-like, the longest fringe about 2.0 times as wide as its basal diameter; hind tibia with 3-4 av, between them only one strong, medial ad strong and long, except 2 short basal hairs, 2 pd, 4-5 long and thin pv; posterior surface of hind coxa with some short hairs, tarsi shorter than tibiae, 4th tarsomere short, claws of fore and mid legs shorter than pulvilli, obtuse-shaped, claws of hind legs
longer than pulvilli. Abdomen. Black in ground color, with grey pruinosity, oviform-shaped or cone-shaped in dorsal view, with chessboard-shaped versicolor patches; each of 3rd and 4th tergites with one pair of long and strong median marginal bristles; 6th tergite bare, 7 + 8th syntergite with short hairs, without strong setae, 1st sternite with short hairs; 2nd-4th sternites covered with long and
thin hairs, 5th sternite U-shaped, its lateral lobes with numerous spine-like setae on the inner margins. Epandrium shining black. Apical part of cerci covered by numerous short thorn-liked hairs, in profile slightly curved ventrally, with apical hook, in dorsal view distinctly s-shaped curved;
surstyli short, triangular. Pregonite bend, thin and long, its dorsal surface not haired, distal part of postgonite with claw-like process, its ventral surface with 2-3 fine hairs; vesica paired, membranous, broad and wide, covered by numerous short spines; latero-ventral appendix of paraphallus narrow, worm-shaped and well sclerotized; juxta elongate, poorly sclerotized, without lateral arms; lateral styli and medial stylus of inner parts of distiphallus elongate, bristle-liked; parastyli well developed, rod-shaped, placed (visible in ventral view) above lobes of vesica.
